What If There Was No Nixon Pardon?

September 5, 2014 — It will be 40 years on Monday — September 8th — that President Gerald Ford, who’d just taken office following the resignation of Richard Nixon, pardoned Nixon for his involvement in the Watergate scandal.  But — what if Ford HADN’T pardoned Nixon?

The Lakeshore’s Chris Nolte put that question to Purdue Calumet associate political science professor Richard Rupp.
