Virginia Tech Survivor Talks Gun Violence At Purdue

April 22, 2014 — Virginia Tech shooting survivor Colin Goddard joins Purdue’s Police Chief, students and professors for a gun violence prevention panel discussion Wednesday evening in the wake of the fatal January 21st shooting on the West Lafayette campus.

The panel discussion will be held in Matthews Hall at 5:30 p.m. Speakers will discuss efforts to keep guns off campus, and how students can get involved to make their school safer from gun violence.

Purdue University student Cody Cousins of Warsaw faces a preliminary murder charge for allegedly shooting fellow grad student Andrew Boldt of Wisconsin in the basement of the Electrical Engineering Building.
