Midwest Beat with Tom Lounges

Traveling with A Time Machine Guitar to Ralph’s World

Share Tweet Email

This edition of “Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges” has RALPH COVERT as musical guest.   A native Chicagoan, Covert is a kiddie renaissance man and the rockin’ ruler and namesake of “RALPH’S WORLD,” a magical and musical planet inhabited by the likes of Cowboy Joe, Miss Molly Crackerjack, Freddy Bear the Teddy Bear, green gorillas, tap-dancing elephants, robots, time machines, and plenty of original music.

In Ralph’s World, children while away the hours singing, laughing and doing funky dances like “The Dinosaur Rumble” and “The Go-Go Pogo.”  Covert chats about his career evolution and metamorphosis from downtown club rocker to children’s entertainer.  From teaching, to writing and recording, to creating a RALPH’S WORLD TV pilot, and more.

Ralph’s World comes to Northwest Indiana for a FREE 3pm performance at Main Square Park’s Gazebo Stage on Sunday, June 7th for the final day of Highland’s Fourth of July Festival is truly something special.   More: www.ralphsworld.com. More about the festival: (219) 923-9351.
