Toth Returns to Federal Court
A Highland native could be working on a federal court plea deal for child pornography charges.
Eric Justin Toth’s case was so serious that he replaced Osama Bin Laden at the top of the Federal Burean of Investigation’s “most-wanted” list. He has a June federal court hearing, after such a hearing Thursday, May 23, suggested that defense and prosecuting attorneys could make a plea deal. The FBI says Toth kept child pornography on his computer at a Washington DC school where he taught before he fled to Nicaragua, where he was arrested last month. Toth worked as an elementary school teacher in several states, including Indiana.
