Toddlers, Tiaras, and Bears… Oh My!
Wendy Dickey is best known for dressing her 3-year-old her daughter, Paisley, as the prostitute character from the movie, “Pretty Woman” on the reality show, Toddlers and Tiaras. Controversial? You bet. But so is the TV show.
Wendy has since written a scathing tell-all book on her experiences on the show, complete with a snarky title, “Living Vicariously Through My Daughter” which promises to raise a lot of waxed eyebrows.
One of the passages in this eye opening book includes this excerpt: “I lived in torment and I lived in fear. I was scared for Paisley and myself to be at home alone. I was scared to go shopping with her. I was scared that someone was going to take my daughter, or my sons, or kill me and my husband. I was scared that someone was going to break into my home at night and make me watch as they raped my daughter.”
We’ll talk to Wendy.
We will also talk with Matt Forte, the all-pro star running back for the Chicago Bears, who will host “A Run For Our Future!,” the inaugural fundraising event for The Matt Forte Foundation. It will take place during the 2014 Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K on March 30th at Grant Park in Chicago.
And if you could ask God one question – just one – what would it be? We’ll reveal what a few Lakeshore listeners replied, and also our responses.
