Sycamores sign 3 recruits who will enter school early
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Indiana State has signed three recruits to national letters-of-intent.
All three players — quarterback Zack Kline, receiver Chris Overton and running Roland Genesy — plan to enroll in school early and will be immediately eligible to participate in team activities.
Coach Mike Sanford made the announcement late Wednesday.
Kline, a junior, is transferring from Butte College in California.
Overton played at Kent State and redshirted last season.
Genesy is transferring from Glendale Community College where he led the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference with 105.9 yards rushing per game and 12 touchdowns last season.
The Sycamores reached the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs and won their first postseason game in three decades this past season.
