Study Finds Room For Social Justice In NWI

The state Department of Education was in town Monday for a public hearing at one of Gary’s struggling schools. We’ll get an overview of some of the district’s issues – a more than a week before classes begins.

A new study by the Hoosier Environmental Council is saying we need to take a fresh look at the impact of the environmental threats facing residents in Northern Lake County.

The state Chamber also looks the role water plays in health and economic development.
