(AP) — Golden State tries to keep up its strong start to the season when it continues its five-game road trip in Miami tonight. The 10-2 Warriors have won five in a row and are off to their best start to a season in 41 years. Golden State is led by Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, two of the league’s top 10 scorers, who are both averaging over 22 points a game. Miami has won two in a row, despite playing the last six games without Dwyane Wade, who’s been sidelined with a strained left hamstring.

Sacramento is trying to keep pace with the Warriors at the top of the Pacific Division. The 8-5 Kings visit 7-5 New Orleans. Sacramento goes into tonight’s play trailing the division-leading Warriors by 2 1/2 games.

Washington heads into tonight’s home game against Atlanta with the second best record in the Eastern Conference at 9-3.

Chicago is back in action on the road at Denver tonight. The Bulls are 7-2 in away games this season, including a two-point squeaker at Utah last night. Chicago tops the Central Division at 9-5.

Detroit will try to snap a four-game losing streak when it visits Milwaukee in the other game on the schedule.
