“Here I am, I’m a clean woman and I’m selective with the men I date. It’s not going to happen to me,” Orris, who has now been living with the virus for 10 years, remembers thinking before she contracted it. Today she has to take 12 pills a day, and relies on her friend Evelyn to help her remember when it’s time.
