Sterling, Mrs. Sterling, to testify today
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Donald Sterling’s wife, Shelley Sterling, is scheduled to return to the stand today as the final witness in the trial to determine if she has the authority to sell the Los Angeles Clippers. On Tuesday the team’s CEO, Richard Parsons, testified that coach Doc Rivers has said he’ll resign from the team if Donald Sterling remains the owner. Parsons such a move would be a “disaster” for the franchise.
Donald Sterling continues to say he won’t sell and has filed multiple lawsuits in an effort to avoid being forced to make such a move.
