Indiana State Police made a tow truck from a police vehicle today in Marion County.

That’s where ISP says today an INDOT/Indiana State Police pickup truck pulled professional truck drivers up a snow packed, ice covered hill.

It says ISP Trooper Chris Barr assisted the truckers on I-70 eastbound at the 71 mile marker, where truck drivers were unable to climb the grade due to the condition of the roadway,

State Police say the tractor-trailers were stopped for a property damage crash, so INDOT applied abrasives to the roadway, and traffic slowly navigated the grade.
