Indiana’s Governor’s office is authorizing a delayed statewide work day Monday for state government offices due to anticipated snow and record low temperatures.

Governor Mike Pence’s office says the State is adjusting its hours of operations for Monday, January 6, which is the first day of the 2014 state legislative session.  “All Indiana State Government offices across the state where public business is conducted will open at 10 a.m. local time that morning.”

Indiana’s Department of Workforce Development and WorkOne echoed the advisory, saying offices will open at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 while assuring that unemployment insurance benefit payments will continue as normal.
