Updating his earlier order for a delay to state office’s opening times tomorrow, Indiana Governor Mike Pence has authorized all state government offices to be closed tomorrow.
The Governor’s Office wants essential personnel will report to work to ensure public safety and critical services are available.
Pence said, “We want to ensure that our employees are safe and that Hoosiers have access to critical public services. I am limiting the number of employees who must report to work on Monday to help keep people off the roads and out of the extreme cold, even while we make sure that Hoosiers have access to necessary government services.”
The Governor had previously announced a delay for Monday office hours.
He also ordered Indiana National Guard to deploy in teams of four as emergency response support help for local public safety agencies across the state, involving 96 vehicles and nearly 200 Guardsment.
