INDIANAPOLIS – The state has launched a multi-language website aimed at enticing international businesses to consider Indiana for investment and job creation.

InvestIndiana.com is “a conversation starter,” said Indiana Commerce Secretary Victor Smith.

“Indiana and international businesses both speak the same language, and that’s a language of growth and opportunity,” Smith said in a statement. “This website acts as an online resource, showing just how committed we are to helping international businesses meet their goals in Indiana, joining the hundreds of others currently dotting our state.”

The website is available in English, Italian, German, French, Chinese and Japanese and targets private-sector leaders in countries with companies currently doing business in Indiana.

The site has information about Indiana’s business climate and workforce and highlights locations across the state that international companies have selected for their U.S. operations.
