Matt is responsible for overseeing the Television Production, Creative Services, Membership, Programming and Engineering departments for the station. He provides creative oversight of all the station’s projects and original television productions. Matt is the creator of Making the Grade and was the producer and editor of the local history documentary, “The Region Remembers: WWII.”  He oversees the nationally-syndicated series Classical Stretch (seasons six through twelve) as Executive in Charge of Production and Director, shooting on location in Jamaica and Mexico.  He was also the Producer for a series of town hall forums across the region on ‘Race, Justice, Community and Policing’ that took place in Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties.

Prior to coming to Lakeshore Public Television in 2005, Matt worked for Moxie Pictures in Hollywood, ABC Family in Los Angeles and Leo Burnett in Chicago.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Purdue University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film & Television from Florida State University.

A native of Delphi, Indiana, Matt currently resides in Chesterton with his wife, Murri, and their children Riley, Sailor and Toby.  He is active in supporting the arts and literacy in the region as a member of the Regional Arts Council and as President of the Northwest Indiana Literacy Coalition.
