Kenneth M. Wilk
Kenneth M. Wilk is a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region. Graduating from Bishop Noll in 1966, he then attended Indiana University in Bloomington where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970 and J.D. in 1973.
Ken has conducted his practice as an attorney in Northwest Indiana for over 43 years , specializing in the areas of trial litigation, corporate issues, and estate planning/probate. Since 2010, he has been a member of the law firm of Rubino, Ruman, Crosmer and Polen in Dyer, Indiana.
Ken is an active member of the Lake County Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, and Defense Research Institute.
He served as director and treasurer of the Highland Chamber of Commece for 16 years. Ken is now serves on the board of the Dyer Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Munster, St. John, Schererville and Crossroads Chambers of Commerce. He also serves as a director on the boards of Humane Society of the Calumet Area, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Gary, Lakeshore Chapter of the I.U. Alumni Association and the Briar Ridge Property Owners Association. Ken has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 40 years and serves as an Advocate.
Ken lives in Schererville and resides with his wife, Dawn, to whom he has been married for 32 years. Their son, Kale, is a student at I.U./Bloomington, studying journalism.
Ken is an avid student of history, and is a member of the Chicago Historical Society, Chicago Architectural Foundation, Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society, Monon Railroad Historical Society, and Nickel Plate Railroad Technical and Historical Society.
