Authorities say more than a dozen bus passengers were injured when a pickup truck crashed into a charter bus in northern Indiana, killing the truck’s driver.

The LaPorte County coroner says the man driving the pickup truck died about 3 p.m. today when he lost control of his truck and it crashed into a Royal Excursion charter bus along U.S. 20.

Though 15 adult passengers on the bus were injured, but none of their injuries reportedly were life-threatening for the New Buffalo, Michigan Four Winds Casino charter.

The collision reportedly caused the bus to slide off the highway at an intersection near the town of Rolling Prairie, roughly 15 miles west of South Bend.
