Roberson leads Cream past Crimson 24-14 at Indiana
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Indiana’s Tre Roberson ran for one touchdown and threw for another score, leading the Cream past the Crimson 24-14 in the spring game Saturday.
Roberson dazzled the crowd with his propensity for big plays. He ran 65 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, hooked up with Shane Wynn on a 56-yard pass play in the second and found Wynn again for 59 yards in the third. The second long pass eventually led to a 16-yard TD pass from Roberson to Wynn to make it 17-7.
Nate Sudfeld led the Crimson on a 92-yard scoring drive and threw a late TD pass. But he threw two interceptions and stopped on downs twice.
Sudfeld also threw a ceremonial pass to Isaac Griffith, who nearly drowned last month in Florida.
