Robber Hits Munster Bank Branch

August 13, 2014 — Munster Police are searching for a man who robbed a Chase Bank branch on Ridge Road yesterday morning.

A short, white male suspect walked into Chase Bank, passed the teller a note and demanded money.  He took an undetermined amount of cash and left in a dark-colored, four-door sedan, headed west on Ridge Road toward Lansing.

He’s described as being about 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs between 175 and 200 pounds. The man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt over a dark shirt and white T-shirt and a camouflage baseball cap. He had a beard and a mustache, and a large tattoo on his neck and right hand, including tattoos on his fingers.
