REMC Promotes “Cleaner” Energy To Customers

November 13, 2014 — Against a backdrop of what Indiana Republicans are calling President Obama’s “war on coal,” a small rural energy cooperative in Montgomery County is integrating more renewable power into its grid.

Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Stan Jastrzebski reports that Tipmont REMC is doing so in a way that seeks to avoid both political pitfalls and public relations problems that larger companies like Duke Energy have encountered.
