Today: we revisit our conversation with James Dworkin, the outgoing Purdue NW-North Central chief executive who now has a building named for him — a building that he conceived during his tenure as Chancellor.

James Wallace, the director of I.U. Northwest’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Multicultural Affairs, is speaking at an Indiana Parenting Institute workshop on the Gary campus on Friday.  We asked him to talk about what he’ll tell the workshop participants.

Northwest Indiana Congressman Pete Visclosky has been busy this week in Washington, testifying to the International Trade Commission about the damaging impact that foreign steel imports are having on Region steel companies and steelworkers. He talks with us about those topics and some remarks that he’ll make at local Memorial Day observances.
