Regionally Speaking Forum on Hammond Police Video at PUC

Regionally Speaking held a forum at Purdue University Calumet on the role of police in the community. The show came in the wake of the release of a video tape showing a police in Hammond stop which showed a police smashing the window and using a stun gun on the passenger, after he refused to show ID. The guests include PUC Associate Professor of History Joseph Bigott , East Chicago Police Chief and head of the Region Stop Team Mark Becker and PUC sociology instructor Lorrell Kickpatrick, along with the vice president of the Hammond Chapter of the NAACP.
