Coming up today on the show, the Better Government Association just published a report looking at two projects which impact Indiana—The Illiana Expressway and the Peotone Airport. We’ll find out how the outlook for those projects may have changed since the last election in Illinois.
Also, East Chicago is attempting a transformation. Can one of the most industrialized cities in America become a place for parks and sustainable living? We’ll talk to the city’s 29 year old project manager, who returned home to take on the city’s problems.
Coming up tomorrow on the show, Indiana had the worst voter turn-out in state history in the last election. Now that the final tally is in, we’ll talk to Secretary of State, Connie Lawson, about what might be done to turn that around.
