August 21, 2013 – Gary, IN – Wichita exacted some revenge for last night’s doubleheader sweep by the RailCats with an 18-5 victory over the Gary SouthShore on Wednesday night. Wichita improved to 59-30 while the RailCats dropped to 50-38.

The RailCats set season-highs for runs allowed in a game (18), hits allowed in a game (23), and largest margin of defeat (13).

C.J. Ziegler hit for the first cycle in Wingnuts history with a 4-for-6 effort with four runs driven in.

The RailCats and Wingnuts complete their four-game series tomorrow at 12:10 p.m. LHP Anthony Capra (6-2, 3.84 ERA) will throw for Wichita, the RailCats sent RHP Billy Spottiswood (5-3, 3.55 ERA).
