INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana government employees rated as meeting or exceeding expectations on their yearly performance evaluations will be receiving pay raises, Gov. Mike Pence announced Monday.
Pence sent an email to all state employees saying that those found to have met expectations will be given a 2 percent wage increase, those who exceeded expectations will receive a 4 percent raise, and state workers rated as outstanding will be given a 6 percent pay increase.
“Government works every day because our state employees care about the people of Indiana,” Pence said in the email. “This year, I am pleased to authorize a pay-for-performance increase to recognize their continued work across our state. On behalf of Hoosiers across our state, I offer my thanks for a job well done in 2014.”
