October 17, 2013 — Apple Computers company is taking an executive from another company in a high-profile hire.  Indiana Governor Mike Pence is applauding the move because Apple hired a Hoosier.

Angela Ahrendts is leaving Britain’s Burberry Company, which she is credited with turning around, to be Apple’s Senior Vice President of Expansion Plans and Retail Operation.

Pence says the New Palestine native took her aspiration to Ball State University, and now to Apple.
