This edition of “A LOOK AT THE ARTS with Tom Lounges” originally aired on 12/31/14

Guests for this program are regional Northwest Indiana book authors PAULA EVANS and SANDRA LUNDIN who both have published new books about domestic animals.

Evans wrote a dramatization of her real life experience with Amy her cat in the easy to read and quite humorous “Everybody Love Amy” (Abbott Press).

Lundin’s latest — “Dogs Who Serve: Caring Volunteers” —  is a collection of wonderful stories about dogs and trainers she came to know while researching service dogs.

The two ladies who met in a regional writers workshop and became friends (Evans even helped edit Lundin’s latest) chat about their writing, their careers and the amazing real life animals introduced to readers in the pages of these two books.   There are a few short and clever songs about cats and dogs slipped in during the course of the show that will surely make listeners smile.
