Muddy Waters Needs Help From NWI
Once again, “Regionally Speaking: Friday” sounds as sweet the music coming out of a wine-stained lips on a blues harmonica.
Why NWI? The family of legendary bluesman Muddy Waters is coming to The Region to ask for our help. The historic house that Muddy lived in for 3 decades has is in dire condition, and the distance between that Chicago landmark and Northwest Indiana is shorter than you think. The grandson of Muddy Waters has special ties to NWI. Steven Mckinley Monson specifically asked “Regionally Speaking: Friday” for the opportunity to tell his story. Tavis Buchan said, “Yes!” Tune in.
Also, Tavis Buchan introduces you to a local poet, and aspiring author who has just written his first children’s book. Meet Aaron Gibson.
And, of course, your RT Movie review, plus your guide to roller coaster rides. It’s all here… for the taking.
