Missing Jasper County Man Found Dead
Police are searching for a 26-year old Rensselaer man who went missing last Monday and was found dead last night.
Rensselaer Police report that Seth Rusk’s parents said he left around 4:30 a.m. Monday, April 15th, to start working at a new job in Francesville and never arrived at the job. The following day, police received information that Rusk’s cell phone was in the Merrillville area, located just under one-half mile west of the East 84th Street tower. Police were unable to locate Rusk at this location and his cell phone was later turned off.
The Lake County Coronor’s office said last night that Rusk was later found dead 2487 80th Avenue in Hobart and the cause of death is under investigation.
Police say Rusk had a history of drug use in the past.
