This “MIDWEST BEAT with TOM LOUNGES” program was originally aired Thursday, September 26, 2013

Musical guest is 1960s rocker PAUL REVERE of Paul Revere & The Raiders

This SPECIAL BROADCAST finds show host TOM LOUNGES shining a retrospective spotlight on the career of 1960s American Superstars — PAUL REVERE & THE RAIDERS – who perform live at Star Plaza Theatre on Friday, Sept. 27th.

Listeners to the original broadcast had opportunities to call in and win tickets to the show.

On this program, you will hear “the legend of PAUL REVERE” directly from the lips of the veteran rocker who gave the world such hits as “Kicks,” “Hungry,” “Just Like Me,” “Where The Action Is,” “Indian Reservation,” and more.

Revere is a guy who went from owning a burger joint in Iowa to owning the record charts in the U.S.A. with a string of hit singles that lasted from 1963 to 1971.  Revere and his Raiders are still performing 50-60 concerts each year. Don’t miss taking this nostalgic trip through one of rock music’s greatest eras with one of the stars who made it such.

It’s cool to know that he was still rocking out just a year ago–an inspiration to all senior citizens! This page will probably see a lot of hits today. R.I.P., Paul.
