LONDON (AP) — Barcelona returned to the top of the Associated Press Global Football 10 on Tuesday after Lionel Messi inspired a 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

Juventus is second in the team vote after moving three points clear at the top of Serie A by beating Napoli 3-1, while Southampton is third for beating Manchester United 1-0 on Sunday at Old Trafford.

Messi’s display against Atletico on Sunday, when he scored one goal and assisted two, put him No. 1 in the player vote.

Francesco Totti is runner-up after scoring twice for Roma in the second half of its match against fierce rival Lazio, as it came from two goals down to draw 2-2.

Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez is third after also scoring twice in a 3-0 win over Stoke.
