Lunch Program Increase Sends Signal About Child Health
October 22, 2013 — Almost 50% of Indiana school children participate in the free or reduced lunch program at school. That’s up 27% percent since 2004, and not every eligible child is enrolled.
That statistic comes from the Indiana Youth Institute, a statewide nonprofit which seeks to promote the healthy development of Indiana children and youth.
