Share Tweet Email

September 25, 2013 — As local municipalities set their budgets for 2014 many are unsure of how to use the money generated by the new Lake County local option income tax.

Michael Griffin has served five terms as clerk – treasurer for the Town of Highland and teaches a course on urban policy and local government at Indiana University Northwest.  Griffin sat down with reporter Sarah Holst to talk about his thoughts about how the Region could best use the funds from the economic development portion of the new income tax.  Click to watch.
