Light night of play in hockey
(AP) — Just two games make up the NHL schedule this evening. In New York the Rangers are facing the Minnesota Wild. The Rangers had a three-game winning streak snapped two nights ago when they were beaten by the Canadiens in Montreal. Each team has won four times this young season.
The other game tonight features the Canadiens playing the Oilers in Edmonton. The Habs arrive in Edmonton fresh off a perfect four-game homestand with each win coming against a team that was in the playoffs last season. Montreal has been near perfect this season, with a record of 7-1. The Oilers are 3-4-1, one point out of last place in the Western Conference.
