Lakeshore Public Television to Air Indiana High School Basketball Games
MERRILLVILLE— Lakeshore Public Media a proud to announce that this Saturday, March 29 Lakeshore Public Television will air the live telecast of the FOX Sports coverage of three IHSAA Boy’s Basketball Championship games from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Each of these three games will feature local Northwest Indiana teams, Marquette Catholic, Bowman Academy and Lake Central.
“This is a great opportunity for us to offer local high school sports coverage over our airwaves and is just another example of why Lakeshore is a leader in bringing local prep sports to the Region,” says Lakeshore Public Media President and CEO James Muhammad.
Greg Rakestraw (play-by-play) and Bob Lovell (analyst) will call the Class A final at 9:30 a.m. (CT) and Jerry Baker (play-by-play) and Mike Broughton (analyst) will handle the Class 3A and 4A games starting at 5:00 p.m. (CT). The telecasts will be produced by the IHSAA.
