Some of the high schools in our region, in Chicagoland, and this nation are struggling, even failing.  Many are in urban settings while some are in rural areas.  What makes a difference?  It’s people, the administrators, teachers, staff and parents who are heavily involved in making their school better.  Well, we’ve got a couple of principals, from two of these schools, here to tell us how they are turning their schools around.  Let’s meet Shaunna Finley who is the Principal at East Chicago Central High School in East Chicago, Indiana, and Michelle Ondas, Principal, Gavit High School in Hammond, Indiana.  Episode #1116. Aired 7/21/17
