Share Tweet Email

December 11, 2013 — Lake Station Police say they have arrested five drug crime suspects and one meth lab today.

Police Chief Kevin Garber, Senior, says his department recovered methamphetamine from a house used as a drug lab in the 3300 block of Arizona Street.  Garber says his officers made several undercover meth purchases from the residence over a course of months.

He says Lake Station Police Department got a search warrant today and enforced it with assistance from two SWAT teams.

Garber says his officers believe the suspects were supplying meth to other communities, reaching into Newton and Jasper Counties.  His narcotic officers plan to present their case to the Lake County prosecutor tomorrow.
