THIS EDITION OF “A LOOK AT THE ARTS with TOM LOUNGES” originally aired on Wednesday, June 1st at 12pm/Noon.

This edition of “A LOOK AT THE ARTS” – a program originating from the studios of LAKESHORE PUBLIC MEDIA — hosted by journalist Tom Lounges features a guest who has worked on stage and screen, in front the camera and behind it as a writer, director and producer.

That guest is JUDY NORTON – a veteran actor who literally grew up in America’s living rooms while playing the role of MARY ELLEN WALTON on the long-running Emmy Award, Golden Globe and People’s Choice-winning television series, “THE WALTONS,” that ran for nine seasons from 1972 to 1981.

Judy has come a long way from Waltons’ Mountain since hanging up her cotton dress…  Evolving into quite a renaissance woman over the years doing all those previous things I mentioned, while also adding to her resume – working as a singer, a recording artist and a concert performer.

And yes… Judy is also still acting – both on screen and stage.

During this hour long program, Judy shares memories of the past and tells of her current projects.
