Share Tweet Email

September 2, 2013 — St. John’s Police Department is advising drivers that Joliet Street there will be closed for rail crossing maintenance for a week, starting tomorrow.

It says detour routes will be posted to redirect traffic while the Norfolk Southern Railroad repairs a railroad crossing.

Police say the Norfolk Southern Railroad will close its tracks at the railroad crossing on Joliet Street to both eastbound and westbound traffic starting tomorrow (Tuesday, September 3rd) through Tuesday, September 10th.

The Department says the detour route is West 93rd Avenue and Hart Street for both eastbound and westbound traffic.
