Lakeshore Public Radio Seeking Audio Production Intern

Lakeshore Public Radio is seeking a qualified audio production intern.

Candidates need to be currently enrolled college students, who preferably have some experience in production.

Production:

You will learn to record and edit audio set for playback. You will work with computer automation systems, including AudioVault scheduling software.

Responsibilities:
-Download audio files for daily and weekly playback
-Write, edit, produce promos for shows
-Upload daily podcasts from live shows
-Edit daily features for on-line content

Qualifications:
-Currently enrolled college student, studying news broadcasting/journalism (either Radio or Television, though this position is strictly for radio) or communications with an emphasis in journalism/broadcasting
-Strong writing skills
-Computer skills (typing, use of internet)
-Knowledge of audio editing software is a plus (Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Audition, etc.)

-The position is unpaid, for credit only
-Trustworthiness is crucial
-Only 1 (one) position available
