IU Hoosiers Move Onto 3rd Round Against Temple

The Indiana Hoosiers (28-6) are moving onto the 3rd round of the NCAA Tournament against Temple on Sunday, following their victory over James Madison, 83-62.

Behind the hot start of Freshman Yogi Ferrell, who scored 14 points in the opening six minutes, the Hoosiers never trailed in the game, against 16th seeded James Madison. Temple, meanwhile, defeated North Carolina State, 76-72.

The Hoosiers had five players in double-digit scoring, including Ferrell’s team leading 16 points. Will Sheehey scored 15 off the bench, Cody Zeller and Victor Oladipo added 11 points, and Jordan Hulls scored 10. Ferrell tied a career high with 8 rebounds.

The James Madison Dukes end their season with a 21-15 record.
