IU Business Outlook Tour Stops Include Schererville
October 17, 2014 — Faculty members from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business will visit 10 Indiana cities this year, to talk about what lies ahead for Indiana and the nation, economy-wise, as Hoosiers look ahead to 2015.
The first stop in the Kelley School’s “Business Outlook Tour” begins November 6th in Indianapolis and ends in Schererville on November 21. The team of economists will be at Teibel’s Restaurant that day, at 11:30 a.m.
The team is led by Jerry Conover, the director of the Indiana Business Research Center. He says that although both the state and national economies have recouped much of the loss sustained during the Great Recession, we’re still not on reliably firm footing.
The Kelley School of Business has presented its national, state and local forecasts through a series of presentations in cities throughout Indiana since 1972.
The Lake County Advancement Committee and Calumet College of St. Joseph is coordinating the Schererville visit. If you’d like to attend, contact Caitlin Mills-Groninger, at 219-473-4325.
