Indiana Toll Road Work Projects Take Thanksgiving Break
November 25, 2013 — The company operating the Indiana Toll Road is stopping work on the highway so that holiday travelers don’t get stopped on their journey.
The Indiana Toll Road Concession Company removed all mainline lane restrictions to accommodate one of the busiest travel times of the year.
Seasonal re-paving and lane striping activities were halted as of five o’clock this morning. The westbound exit ramp at mile post 21 in LakeStation is still undergoing major construction and will remain closed. Any seasonal projects still needing work will resume Tuesday December 5.
Toll road officials remind residents to always travel at an appropriate speed for weather and traffic conditions.
