Share Tweet Email

While it’s likely that baseball fans think of the RailCats as a top-notch American Association baseball team, it’s just as likely that local officials, marketing partners and vendors think of the team as a thriving business.
On almost any summer night local residents can watch the ‘Cats putting their championship-winning skills in action on the field. In fact, after ten games into this season, the RailCats are in first place in teh American Association’s Central Division. But it’s the teams savvy marketing effort that ramps up the fun for fans, sponsors and vendors. Promotions ranging from prom night and stadium sleepovers to Bark-in-the-Park and “Where’s Waldo” are designed to draw in even the most tepid baseball fan who inevitably leaves with a smile.
RailCats President and General Manager Kevin Spudic says the ‘Cats employ hundreds of people through a vendor who prepares and organizes promotional efforts to ensure fans are fully entertained.
