Hospital Costs Vary Wildly Locally And Nationally
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services put out some data on the price hospitals around the country tell Medicare they are charging for popular procedures, from a heart attack to pneumonia. The early results show a wide gap between what hospital tell the government they are charging. This varies not only from region to region but, even between hospital to hospital in Northwest Indiana.
