Jan. 11, 2015 – The Lake Court House Foundation will once again partner with Crown Point Community Theatre to produce this year’s annual “Courtroom Drama.” The seventh year for this partnership, this year’s production will be Anatomy of a Murder by Elihu Winer, which is based on the novel by Robert Travel.

Lakeshore News Weekend’s Eric Reithel reports, with contributing reporting from Chris Nolte (who spoke with Marty Wheeler of the Lake Sourt House Foundation). Eric spoke with one of the play’s co-directors, Marion Kellum, on the unique challenges and benefits of staging a play in an unconventional space.

Show dates for the production are to be spread over two weekends; January 16th-18th and the 23rd-25th. Fariday and Saturday show times are at 7:30om, with Sunday matinees happening at 2:00pm.  Tickets can be purchased in-person at the Lake Court House itself during business hours, over the phone at (219) 805-4255, or online at www.cpct.biz.
