Tom’s guest for this week’s installment of “A LOOK AT THE ARTS with TOM LOUNGES” is ROBERT SWAN a professional opera singer and actor who is the founder of The Harbor Country Opera group in Michigan.

The Harbor Country Opera present the 10th annual “Christmas at the Acorn” concert on December 20, 2014 at The Acorn Theatre just across the Indiana state line in Three Oaks, Michigan.

Along with producing the concert, Mr. Swan will perform in it alongside of several professional artists from the Chicagoland area, including veterans of The Lyric Opera of Chicago and other major stages.   Among those are tenor John Concepcion, harpist Ramona Kim and gifted vocalist Martha Cares; whose musical talents are heard via recordings of live performances during the course of this radio program.   Cares and Swan are shown in the photo above performing “Santa Baby” at last year’s “Christmas at the Acorn” concert.
