Hammond Officers Involved in Traffic Stop Incident Back on the Street
On today’s show, in the wake of the grand jury decision in Ferguson Mo exonerating the police officer involved in the shooting death of unarmed teen Michael Brown, Hammond Mayor Tom McDermott announced two officers involved in a controversial traffic stop in Hammond, will return to street duty. The incident made national news after a cell phone video was released showing the officers breaking a passenger window. We’ll talk to the Mayor, as well as Dana Kurtz, the attorney for the passenger of the vehicle.
