“Good Samaritan” Assailant Faces Decades In Prison
September 3, 2013 — A 49-year-old Valparaiso woman who was convicted of stabbing a man who let her to use his telephone following a car crash last October will serve a 50-year prison sentence.
A jury found Billie Jo Moore guilty of felony aggravated battery, and she was determined to be a habitual criminal offender because of her past record. The 64-year-old stabbing victim, a Center Township resident, underwent surgery to repair damage near his heart.
Police reportedly found Moore hiding in bushes near the home with blood on her. Investigators later said Moore was high on cocaine and marijuana when she was arrested.
