It is hard to imagine a more contentious relationship: The company running Gary Roosevelt High School once sued the School District. Gary left EdisonLearning with $1 million in utility bills. But the two sides promise a brand new relationship, one which could have implications for all the turn-around operations in the state. We talk to the new CEO of EdisonLearning.

Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson held a press conference this morning, promising new action to stem the recent violence, which included the resignation of Police Chief Wade Ingram.

We’ll also get the latest on the challenge to Right to Work.

We’ll also find out how the backers the new Veterans Café have done so well, being so good.

Guests include:

Thom Jackson, President and Chief Executive Officer of EdisonLearning

Jim Wieser, attorney Schererville

Brian Cody, Veterans Cafe and Grill

Karen Freeman-Wilson, mayor of Gary

Larry McKinley, Gary Police Chief
